Volunteering

The Friends Group supports community involvement at Cressing Temple in a number of ways. Volunteers are always welcome to help in the gardens and with the running of the Friends Group. As a volunteer you can become involved with gardening, DIY, plant propagation, plant sales, beekeeping, organising fundraising events and marketing.

Gardening

Friends of Cressing Temple gardens are working to protect these special gardens in their unique setting by focusing on their conservation and development into a place of research, education and historical representation as well as a source of therapeutic and medicinal plant knowledge.

Beekeeping

The craft of beekeeping is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the UK and ‘backyard beekeeping’ is becoming a new craze – where better to learn than in the beautiful surroundings of Cressing Temple Barns?

Fundraising

Fundraising is vital for our work. You can help by selling plants and vegetables or by organising events such as quizzes and talks.

Community Shed

Our Community Shed is an opportunity to use your skills in wood working, hobbying or any other specialist areas of making/repairing/up cycling or just to meet up for a chat and a cuppa, sometimes with cake and with other Shedders!
